Our Canadian American Thanksgiving

WOW!!! What a fantastic day. Since Trevor's Thanksgiving was last week and alot of the family will be on a cruise to the Bahamas over our American Thanksgiving day, we decided to combined the two together this year. We had all the great food we normally have on thanksgiving day but put a little Canadian french twist on things!! We deep fried the turkey for the first time this year. OMG!! all i can say is YUM!!! great food and spending time with the best family...who could ask for more!! love you all!!

TRUST ME....IT TASTED AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS!!!

 EVERYTHING WAS MADE FROM SCRATCH. I WAS SO PROUD OF HOW MY ROLLS TURNED OUT. THEY WERE DELICIOUS!!

SINCE WE COULDN'T STUFF THE TURKEY I MADE THIS FABULOUS

Zack did a great job helping Mommy make the sweet potato casserole

"SEE MOMMY...YOU HAVE TO STIR IT JUST LIKE THIS"

"AND NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW ITS REALLY BABY FOOD  HEHEHEHE!!!!"

WE WANTED TO EAT AROUND 2:00 BUT GOT OFF TRACK SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY SO BY THE TIME IT FINALLY GOT DONE WE WERE STARVING!

" IF WE DON'T EAT SOON MY ARMS ARE GONNA GROW

ANOTHER FOOT LONG!!!"

The babies really enjoyed their first thanksgiving dinner. We decided it was about time they discovered what real people food was all about!!!! OMG...all i can say is  FUNNNNNNY!!!

AS YOU CAN SEE....MATT HAD NO TROUBLE FIGURING OUT WHAT TO DO WITH A TURKEY LEG....LIKE FATHER LIKE SON!!!

Emma on the other hand...well, it took her a minute to figure out what it was we gave her.......

AFTER THEIR TURKEY LEGS, AUNT BARB LET THE BABIES TRY ALL THAT

THANKSGIVING HAD TO OFFER!!!

THE BOYS WENT OUTSIDE TO PLAY AND BURN OFF SOME OF THAT TURKEY

IN ORDER TO MAKE ROOM FOR DESSERT

"WHAT?? ITS BIG ENOUGH FOR BIG KIDS TOO!!!!"

and then of coarse Andy had to try it too....

This was a pumpkin pie on the bottom and a pecan pie on the top!!

OH SO GOOOOOOOOOD!!!

And it wouldn't be Thanksgiving if Mom didn't pick the first pecan out of the

top of the pie before cutting into it!!!

AFTER EVERYONE LEFT AND ALL WAS SETTLING DOWN...DADDY SPENT SOME QUALITY TIME WITH EMMA.....HOW CUTE ARE THESE......
